Need help planting a tree? We love the opportunity to get some new trees into the ground, from tiny seeds to 5 ton container grown specimens, we are happy to help and advise you on on the best options or sourcing the best trees for the location and within budget.
We plant hundreds of trees in and around Hertfordshire every year.
The process involves digging a hole that is bigger than the root ball of the tree. It’s then planted into the hole and backfilled with soil. (When backfilling, the nursery mark of the tree will remain above the soil.)
The tree will then be twin staked with two ties. Mulch will be added to the tree pit to minimise water loss and prevent weed growth.
